The Big Apple: Day Two

Before this immersion trip, if someone would have asked me what I feel the most unsure about in the music business, my answer would have been, "how to network." Now, just two days in, I have realized that networking is waaaay simpler than I had anticipated. That midwestern friendliness that everyone is so worried will get you stepped on? Keep it! It's how you make friends.

I'm also learning that it's ok to just be YOU. You don't have to do something a certain way to fit into the perfect cookie cutter image that someone has created for you. Make your own success, and figure out your own definition of that word.
